Domestic flights cheap between cities (Avianca, LATAM, Viva). Buses comfortable but long distances. Uber in cities. Colombia's geography means air travel saves significant time.
Stay at a finca (coffee farm) in Salento or Manizales. Guided tours show the full coffee process from picking to roasting. Colombia produces some of the world's finest Arabica.
Colombia has transformed dramatically. Tourist areas are safe and welcoming. Research areas before visiting. Use registered taxis or Uber. Overall, Colombians are extraordinarily warm.
