Colourful Dutch Caribbean — Outside the Hurricane Belt
About This Guide
Curaçao (pronounced 'KYOOR-ah-sow') is a Dutch Caribbean island outside the hurricane belt, offering reliable year-round sunshine. Willemstad's colourful UNESCO-listed Handelskade waterfront is one of the Caribbean's most photographed streets. World-class shore diving, secluded beaches, and a laid-back multicultural atmosphere make Curaçao one of the region's most underrated destinations.
